How do I remove old (REALLY BAKED ON) vinyl film from a painted aluminum canopy?
What I have done so far, removed two 10" letters, has taken nearly 3 hours. I've used "Desolve-it" remover and a fairly dull (or sharp - whichever way you want to look at it) putty knife. Although it does work it is tiring to say the least. I have only "oopsed" 3 or 4 times and dug through the paint... that I can live with seeing as how I intend to repaint the canopy. Is there any easier way to do this or do I just gut it through?

what is the trick to sewing waterproof seams?
i was given a camper vinyl canopy 12x22. i am making covers for my outdoor furniture and before i sew it up, i think there is a way to make the seams water-tight if not waterproof. does anyone know how to do this before i get started? thanks. waiting on info before i sew.

The restaurant (and a large number of its fixtures, including its iconic neon sign) moved down the street to the Foshay Tower in 1985, and then to its current location at 8th St. and 2nd Av.
