What would it cost to a take out my metal awnings?
I have metal awnings on house (bungalo). One porch wide awning, one over my side door and one over a window. They look like they are in good shape but they leak and i see some rust. I want to call someone to take them down and away. What would that cost?

yes, Home Depot and Lowes both offer paint products for metal appliance and surface, it comes in both paint cans ans spray applications and work very well, last summer i repainted a grotto that we have in our backyard, and when your in the store they will tell you the best one to use depending on the grain of your awning.

On the front of my house I have a screened in porch that was built so that it was under the main roof (it doesn't have a metal porch roof). It has these really old metal awnings that come out on all 3 sides that provide great shade, but they're falling apart. Is there anything available that can replace these but still provide the shade? Ice-related work at City Hall closes parts of East Broad
Ice fell from the roof of City Hall and damaged parts of the building this week, prompting officials to close two of its four entrances.
Parts of East Broad Street were closed earlier today to traffic as a crane is used to inspect the 37-year-old downtown landmark, officials said. Traffic is now moving slowly through the area.
The building recently underwent a $21.2 million face-lift in which it was re-clad with steel and aluminum to replace the original marble slabs that had been cracking and had to be held in place by thousands of fiberglass straps.
The falling ice broke several sections of a glass canopy over the Broad Street entrance and damaged metal flashing on at least two floors on the same side of the building, said Richmond Deputy Chief Administrative Officer Christopher L. Beschler.
No one was injured, Beschler said. The broken sections of the canopy are made of a protective glass, and damage was found only on the Broad Street side of the building, he added.
