Garden Canopy

I currently have a mesh mosquito canopy hanging from the ceiling above my bed and it's beautiful. However, our new home being built has a vaulted ceiling in the bedroom. Because the canopy hangs from the ceiling, I'm not sure how to make it work...

Yes I have. At one home, I did the bedroom for their daughters with this same problem. What I did was suspend 4 chains from the ceiling and attached at frame I made to it and attached the canopy to the frame.

I think what you are referring to is the 'Hydrogen Canopy'. I don't know if it is really true but this is how it was supposed to be. I saw a video of someone explaining this.
