Are there any custom backpacking tent makers?
I am looking to get a custom made tent (built to my designs) and am looking to see if there are any manufactures or builders out there. Something along the lines of Feathered Friends (sleeping bags) or Robert Beckman (bike panniers) where you can have a one of a kind to your specs tent made. Thanks!
I am an REI member and a big fan of their tents (I have two), but as far as I know, they won't custom build a tent for you. Their website does allow you to enter criteria and it will recommend different brand/models for you, but that is not the same thing.
However, in their April 2007 issue, Backpacker Magazine gave good reviews to small company called Big Sky that DOES let you custom design your own tent (in addition to having standard set models). I've not used (or even seen one) myself, but Backpacker mag gave them an editors choice award (some other reviewer sites have been less enthusistic however).
Where can you find cheap, custom tents?
Where can you find cheap, custom tents for a high school sporting event. Everywhere I look they cost $ 1500+. Does anyone know a good company or website that sells custom tents with a reasonable price?
I need it to have my school's name on it.
Custom mede camping tents?
Does anyone know of any places online that I can go to that will make a custom made camping tent? By custom made, I mean any size I want and any graphics that I want printed on the tent........Im looking for a 2 or three man tent that I can get custom made w/a logo printed on it............thanks!
uhhhhhh. not of the top of my head sorry. if you want a custome camping tent that is very technical. you probably cant get one. the money these companies put into developing a tent is huge so to just customer one for you would be exspensivo. Also logo is hard most tents now have a silicone fly to keep the rain out and this material cant be printed on. in most cases companies have to print the logo backwards on the underside and have it be viewed through the slightly see through material.
Has anyone bought custom wedding invites?
I can not find the exact type color quality etc. in those big wear house websites. I have seen the custom invites and I'm afraid to make an appointment because of the cost. I'm hoping it will be $800 or less for 50 invites RSVP menus place cards and table tents. NO Programs and NO save the dates. Am I delusional? I'm from California which is probably more expensive.
I actually made my wedding invitations from scratch. I used blank cards and envelopes and bought scrapbooking paper, dried leaves, ribbons and dried rose buds to design them with.
Does anyone know how to replace a roof on a tent trailer?
Added detail: Without spending a fortune! Do you know of anyone who would make a custom roof for cheaper than the manafacturer?
